Weinstein & Company focuses on the following areas:
Private Equity: We have assisted private-equity firms ranging from early-stage venture capital firms to large LBO firms. In some cases, this work has involved helping to recruit senior executives for portfolio companies; in other cases, the objective has been to find professionals for the private-equity firms themselves.
Technology and Life Sciences: This segment of our work is often for small, growing companies in which the venture community has some involvement, although we have assisted large clients as well. We have worked in software, information services, medical devices and electronics, health-care services, hardware, and process-control instrumentation, among other businesses.
Management Consulting: We have helped consulting firms add people at the Partner and Manager levels in practice areas such as corporate strategy, information technology, litigation support, general manufacturing, aerospace and defense, and mergers and acquisitions. Our clients have ranged from large, international firms to smaller “boutique” firms focused on a particular niche or region. We have also helped corporate and private-equity clients recruit people from the consulting community for operating, strategic planning, business development, and other positions.
The firm is also experienced in, and knowledgeable about, a wide range of other sectors including consumer products, financial services, media and entertainment, and manufacturing.
